The Catholic Education Foundation of Ontario is pleased to make available the Michael Carty and the Michael Monk Awards in support of initiatives in Catholic schools.
The Michael Carty Award supports initiatives in Catholic elementary schools that improve, develop, and enhance aspects of Catholic education that contribute to the whole person.
The Michael Monk Award honours one Catholic elementary or secondary school that has led the way by implementing exemplary innovative program(s) to improve the learning and engagement of their students. This award celebrates a new initiative in a school that seeks to support students in need, either economically or socially. The Michael Monk Award is jointly funded and administered by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association and the Catholic Education Foundation of Ontario. For 2025, the award is set at $4000.00.
